Praise the Lord! This Saterday many people from Resurrection Fellowship came over to help me work on the house! Yea, I know your getting sick of reading about me and the whole house thing but this page is about what is going on in my life and for me this is a big thing. Not only because the house is closer to being finished but because I get to see people living out the word in concrete terms. They are planning to come out and help at least once a month which is a blessing almost beyond belief.

As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace. - 1 Peter 4:10
Bear one another's burdens, and so you will fulfill the law of Christ. - Gal 6: 2

I have been putting off this update because I haven’t found the time to post some pictures, so the above pictures may not work yet. In recent news, I got a new digital camera. A Fuji Finepics with which I am already straining the tolerance of all my friends by taking a lot of pictures. I have posted some of them on the RF-Church website.

We have also bought a lot more sheet rock and some spackling supplies in anticipation of this weekend. As this Saturday the 17th, Armed Forces Day, many of my church family will be coming over to give me some very much needed helping hands in completing the task of rebuilding the house. (All are welcome) From the day my father bought the shack 10 years ago, I have been working towards the vision I was given of its completion.

Yesterday, I got to go and see the Matrix – Reloaded. It is a good movie. The special effects and fight sequences alone are worth the price of admission, but the wild orgy seen was totally unnecessary. After seeing that seen you might think that only Brazilians were freed from the matrix.

As of today all the sheetrock that I bought for the kitchen walls are in place instead of on the living room floor. This just leaves, as far as the kitchen and drywall is concerned, the ceiling to do which as everyone knows is the harder part. What is behind this Drywall Incident? Well to start at the beginning I have been working on this shack since my father bought it like 10 years ago! And a lot of work has been done over these years. Leveling the floor moving interior walls, replacing all the exterior windows and moving an exterior door, roofing, etc. But for the past two years I have been really brought down by the amount of work that is left to do and that after such a long time I live in an unfinished shanty. A bit of advice; NEVER live in a house you plan to rebuild! Anyway, two things have happened recently that have started to rekindle my hope of a finished house. First the Lord brought my friend Mark Rambo back into my life and he has been a real help in encouragement and just being there to lend a helping hand. Second, my friend Trish from RF suggested and some of the others from RF were in agreement to have work days where they would come out and help with the house. Just the offer is even encouraging and I can almost see the light of day at the end of the tunnel after feeling so oppressed by the task left before me for so long. Sometimes we really do need some friends to come up along side and help us to lift our arms (Exodus 17:12) or to be able to run ahead when we have run out of the fortitude to look into the empty tomb. (John 20:4-8)

Conversely, I didn't get as far in fallout this past week, I finished reading and then started on my least favorite city in the game - New Reno. I also got to go and see the new X-Men movie with my friends Mark Fullerton, Dirt, and Dorothy. I highly recommend this movie especially if you used to read any of the x-men comics it really is the films we have been waiting for. Go Nightcrawler!
